SISC Copper Mountain Special Section Call for Papers

SISC is planning a Special Section, dedicated to recent progress in iterative methods, following the Fifteenth Copper Mountain Conference on Iterative Methods which took place in March.

See http://grandmaster.colorado.edu/~copper/2018/.

Submissions are encouraged in all aspects of iterative methods including the following areas: stochastic PDEs and uncertainty quantification, iterative linear algebraic techniques for data mining, optimization, inverse problems, large-scale eigenvalue and singular value computations,  iterative methods in imaging, Krylov accelerators, preconditioning, iterative solvers on high concurrency node architectures, multigrid, domain decomposition, nonlinear solution methods, surrogate methods/model order reduction, low-rank approximations, nonlinear least squares, solvers for indefinite systems, hybrid direct/iterative solvers, robust and scalable solvers for coupled multi-physics problems (electromagnetics, fluids, neutronics), iterative methods for energy applications and climate modeling, solvers for quantum chemistry/physics applications.

Submissions will be accepted beginning April 1 and until June 15, 2018. Attendees and participants of the conference as well as the general community are invited to submit papers. Papers will be subject to review by a guest Editorial Board.

Submissions

All interested should submit a manuscript and cover letter in PDF format via SISC's online submission site at https://sisc.siam.org. Note the block labeled Section (just under the keywords block on your submission screen) and select "Special Section” from the dropdown box. Directly below this is a block labeled Special Section, where you’ll want to select “Copper Mountain Special Section 2018” from the dropdown.
