The Adam's Mark is only 4 blocks from the center of uptown Charlotte and only one block from the new inner-city freeway, Highway 277, making the hotel very accessible. Shopping, movies and restaurants are within easy reach of the hotel. Marshall Park, a very lovely park with pools and decorative fountains is across the street. The hotel is twenty minutes from the airport.

Reservation Deadline Date:
We urge you to make reservations as soon as possible as the hotel has other conferences before and after the SIAM Annual Meeting, which may make getting reservations at the last minute or reservations for extended stays difficult.
Deposit:
A deposit in the amount of one night's stay is required to hold each reservation. Reservations are not guaranteed without a deposit.

When making reservations, you must mention that you are attending the 1995 SIAM Annual Meeting to receive the discounted rates. You may make hotel reservations by one of the following ways.

Cancellations:
To obtain a full refund, reservations made by attendees must be cancelled before 4:00 PM, 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival.
Arrivals and Departures:
Check-In time is 3:00 PM and Check-Out is 12:00 Noon.
Dining:
The Adam's Mark has two restaurants: Bravo! Restorante is designed for fine, leisurely dining with an Italian menu; Appleby's is designed for lighter, more rapid-pace dining and is open for late dining. There are two lounges at the hotel. Bravo! Lounge offers a relaxed atmosphere, and CJ's features live entertainment with dance floor, backgammon tables, video and large screen televisions.
Parking:
The Adam's Mark parking is complimentary for both guests and commuting attendees to the meeting.
Recreation:
The second floor of the North Tower of the hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool with whirlpool, a Nautilus health club, two racquetball courts, men's and women's locker rooms with saunas plus a game room. For the athletic and fitness-minded attendees, the hotel has a Fitness Trail. This 20-station physical fitness trail offers 32 different exercises over a .9 mile course through a pleasant city park. Tennis and golf can be arranged through the hotel front desk. The Mecklenburg Aquatic Center includes two Olympic-size pools, therapy pool, whirlpool and exercise room. This facility is located directly across the street from the hotel and there is a $5.00 charge for hotel guests.
