Industrial Projects in Undergraduate Education

Presentations will describe experiences with undergraduate projects in applied mathematics which have been sponsored by business and industry. In particular, speakers will address the educational impact of these projects, the impact on the students as well as the impact on the mathematics curriculum. Talks will also address the nuts and bolts of industrial projects at the undergraduate level: how to make the contacts, what makes a good project, what has worked and not worked at several different institutions.
