SIAM has negotiated a special conference rate of $119 per night, plus taxes, with this hotel, which is also the closest hotel to the conference site. When making a reservation, be sure to mention you are attending the SIAM Conference on Nonlinear Waves in order to receive the conference rate.

Location
The University Tower Hotel features guestrooms with contemporary art-deco motifs, located in the heart of the University district. City level rooms feature views into the heart of the University district while Sky level rooms enjoy panoramic views of illuminating downtown Seattle, the University campus, or breathtaking mountains and lakes. All guestrooms are non-smoking. Guests relax in our inviting living-room style lobby with a crackling fireplace and comfortable seating. The District Lounge is a haven for a casually elegant lunch or dinner. Tully's Coffee Shop is on-site offering toasty drinks, snacks and street-side views for people watching.
The hotel is located two blocks from the University of Washington campus, ten minutes from downtown Seattle and thirty minutes from SeaTac airport.
Reservations
Rooms are being held on a first-come, first-served basis at the following discounted rates. Please be aware the room block fills quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early.
The group rate is guaranteed until the cutoff date unless the block fills prior to that. If there are rooms available after the cutoff date, they will be available at the best rate offered at that time.

Your reservation is not confirmed until acknowledged in writing by the hotel or verified by phone.

Do not make your reservation online through the hotel web site, as this will not allow you to retain the SIAM group rate. Remember to get your confirmation number!
Welcome Reception
When making your reservation, remember that the Welcome Reception is scheduled for Sunday, September 10. This is an excellent networking opportunity!
Deposit
The University Tower Hotel requires a credit card to confirm and guarantee your reservation. The hotel will send out e-mail confirmations upon request.
Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must contact the hotel 24 hours prior to your arrival date in order to avoid a cancellation fee. You can contact the hotel at 1-800-899-0251 (USA and Canada) or +1-206-634-2000. Remember to get a cancellation number!
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM.
