The GRC in theoretical biology and biomathematics has a long tradition in covering a wide range of topics at the forefront of biology in an informal and friendly atmosphere. We encourage anyone interested in quantitative approaches to biology to attend the next meeting, which will have sessions in the following areas:
Noise in biological systems (Chair: Andre Longtin); Biological polymers and membranes (Chair: Alex Levine); Biological networks (Chair: Reka Albert); Social insects (Chair: Fred Adler); Ecological stoichiometry (Chair: Roger Nisbet); Calcium dynamics (Chair: James Sneyd); Synaptic plasticity (Chair: Jonathan Rubin); Cancer (Chair: Helen Byrne); Session in Honor of Lee Segel (Chair: Rob de Boer).
