Topic: Inverse Problems: Systematic Integration of Data with Models under Uncertainty
Dates: June 17‐30, 2018

The summer school aims to introduce graduate students to the mathematical and computational aspects of inverse problems, particularly modern developments that emphasize the quantification of uncertainty in the inverse solution within the framework of Bayesian inference. The target audience is PhD and appropriate MS students in mathematics and related fields such as computer science, statistics, engineering, and science.

Call for Proposals: 2019 Gene Golub SIAM Summer School
The Call for Proposals to organize the 2019 Gene Golub SIAM Summer School is now open. Letters of intent in all areas of applied and computational mathematics will be considered.

Deadline for letter of intent: January 31, 2018
Deadline for full proposal: March 31, 2018
