Grad Students: Workshop with Industry and Government Labs

Graduate Students in mathematics, engineering, and statistics are encouraged to attend the "Industrial Mathematical & Statistical Modeling Workshop for Graduate Students" which is sponsored by the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute (SAMSI).
At the workshop, companies like Advertising.com, Lord Corporation, MIT Lincoln Lab, SAS Institute, Battelle Memorial Institute and GlaxoSmithKline will be presenting exciting real-world problems arising in industrial and government laboratory research.
The workshop is being held July 24-August 1, 2006 at North Carolina State University's Center for Research in Scientific Computation, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
