Meal Accommodations

This year your registration fee covers breakfast and lunch, as well as the twice daily coffee breaks.

Buffet Breakfast will be served from 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. and Buffet Lunch from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Please note that the registration fee for spouse and guests also includes breakfast and lunch. SIAM negotiated a considerable savings for the annual meeting participants and their family in providing these meals. The SIAM buffet meals for registered attendees will be served in the Vista Verde Guarden. If folks miss these serving times, or do not want to eat at the buffet, they are on their own for meals. SIAM cannot and will not reimburse any meal costs included in registration fees.

For dinner, the Westin Rio Mar Beach Resort has six great restaurants -- ranging from the outdoor Club Coqui (named for the little tree frog) serving hamburgers and sandwiches, to the elegant Palio Restaurant serving classical northern Italian specialties. The resort's concierge has a restaurant guide for the many famous restaurants in Old San Juan as well as the surrounding hotels and speciality restaurants on the island.

K-12 Teachers' Workshop

Tuesday, July 11

There is no registration fee for this program, however anyone planning to attend this event must so indicate this on the registration form so that we have enough materials for all participants. Vouchers for this discounted fee will be distributed along with registrant's registration materials.

Indicate on the registration form that you intend to bring a guest to these two events so we can issue tickets. Tour packages can be arranged through the hotel's concierge. Bring your family or friends to Puerto Rico for a lovely holiday!
