Mathematics and Medicine
The focus of this minisymposium is the application of mathematics, particularly control theory modeling, to problems from medicine. The speakers will discuss modeling of the cardiac and
pulmonary system, the solution of an inverse problem related to the heart, and the general problem of modeling and analysis of muscular systems using concepts form hybrid control systems.
