This talk will be a broad review of progress and current activities in
computational astrophysics and cosmology. I will discuss advances in algorithms
and applications
afforded by a decade of access to parallel computers of exponentially increasing
capabilities. I will highlight several applications where computation has
led directly
to new paradigms in our understanding of cosmic phenomena.
