The hotel's meeting and sleeping rooms will be newly renovated for our August 2000 conference. The hotel swimming pool will still be getting a facelift, but arrangements have been made for SIAM attendees and their guests to use the pool at the Westin Maui, a neighboring resort. Despite the unavailability of the Marriott swimming pool, you will find several ways to unwind after a hectic day of technical sessions. You may relax by playing a round of golf, picnicking on the beach, becoming lost in the beauty of a sunset cruise, or simply by sitting and enjoying the sweeping views of the West Maui Mountains or the inviting, blue Pacific ocean. For additional information, visit www.marriotthotels.comand search for the Maui Marriott Resort.
