Dynamical Analysis of PDEs

3:30 PM-5:30 PM
Hibiscus & Ilima (Salon 3 & 4)

This minisymposium will focus on the modeling, computation, and analysis of dynamic behavior in some nonlinear evolutionary systems. The speakers will discuss PDE models of various time-dependent phenomena arising in physiology, population genetics, reaction diffusion systems, and filtration problems. They will discuss scientific and engineering background of the problems, and present recent theoretical results obtained by some new analytical approaches based on novel combinations of the dynamical systems theory, nonlinear functional analysis, and classical PDE estimates.
