Snowbird is 7,900 feet above sea level and the mountain summits rise almost 3,000 feet higher. You will probably notice that your breathing is faster or deeper and you may feel short of breath, especially when you exercise. This is the bodyís first and most effective response to the higher altitude. Your heart may beat faster also this too is a normal reaction. These symptoms usually go away in a day or two. To help your body acclimate it is suggested that you drink more water and take it easy for the first day or two.
