Fouth SIAM Conference on Linear Algebra in Signals, Systems and Control, August 13-16, 2001, Boston Park Plaza Hotel, Boston, MA

Sponsored by the SIAM Activity Group on Linear Algebra

About the Conference

The theme of this conference is linear algebra, numerical linear algebra, and their applications in control, systems and signal processing.

The conference will be highly interdisciplinary in nature. It will focus on significant current research in linear and numerical linear algebra, control, systems and signal processing with emphasis on interactions among these fields. The purpose of the conference is to bring together researchers from academia, government labs and industry working in the application areas together with researchers from linear algebra. It is hoped that an effective exchange of ideas and findings will take place and the conference will foster effective communications.

Who Should Attend

The conference will be of interest to control, communication and signal processing engineers and computer scientists, computational mathematicians, and mathematicians working in linear algebra, operator theory and function theory.
