The speakers in this minisymposium will address recent advances in control problems involving variational inequalities. Typical problems include application of controls to a variational inequality to achieve the minimization of a desired objective functional, or a variational inequality that may arise in the optimality conditions for an optimal control problem for partial differential equations.
