SIAM is holding a block of rooms at the DoubleTree. These rooms are being held on a first come, first served basis at a discounted rate of $97.00 for a single or double room. These rooms will be held for our exclusive use only until Wednesday, May 15, 1996.

We urge you to make your reservations as soon as possible. A postscript version of the Hotel Reservation Form is available which can be downloaded, faxed or mailed directly to the hotel. You may aslo phone the DoubleTree directly to make your reservation. When making your reservation via phone, please be certain to identify yourself as an attendee at the SIAM Conference on Discrete Mathematics to receive the discounted rate.

SIAM will keep a Hotel Roommate-Sharing Database of attendees who may wish to share a room with another attendee at the conference to cut down on expenses.

Location:

The DoubleTree is a deluxe hotel approximately 10 minutes walking distance from the university and 4 miles from the Inner Harbor. Complimentary shuttle service is available from the hotel to the harbor for guests of the hotel.

Deposit:

The DoubleTree requires a deposit equivalent to one night's room rate to guarantee your reservation. The hotel accepts personal checks or a major credit card as payment.

Arrivals and Departures:

Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Cancellations:

To obtain a refund of a deposit, reservations made by SIAM attendees must be canceled before 5:00 PM, 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival.

Dining:

The university is offering a meal plan to attendees who choose to stay at the hotel. Please refer to the Dormitory Information on dining.
