Climate:
Victoria has some of the most moderate weather in all of Canada. Victoria has very low humidity and off shore breezes which keep days from becoming too hot, but can cool off evenings. A sweater or light jacket is recommended and comfortable walking shoes are a must. This resort style city is made for strolling, with downtown hotels, restaurants, shops and parks within close proximity to each other.

Airport Transportation

From the Victoria International Airport:
Shuttle service is provided by Airporter Service. They provide service to and from the airport to all downtown hotels. Their vans are red and white and can be found outside the baggage claim areas. The vans run from 5:25 AM to midnight, seven days a week. They pick up at the airport every 30 minutes. There is no need to make reservations for airport pickup. Just meet the shuttle outside the baggage claim area. The one way cost from airport to any downtown hotel is $13.00. Airporter accepts US and Canadian dollars, American Express, Visa and MasterCard. You can pay once on board the shuttle. You must make a reservation for your return to the airport, 24 hours in advance. Reservation can be made by calling 604-475-3010.
