These rooms are being held on a first-come first-served basis at $95.00 single and $95.00 double. These rooms will be held for our exclusive use until October 11, 1999 only. Reservations made after October 11 will depend on availability. We urge you to make your reservations immediately. You may do so by calling the Sheraton Old Town Hotel, faxing your reservation, or mailing in the Hotel Reservation Form directly to the hotel. When making your reservation by phone, please be certain to identify yourself as an attendee of the Sixth SIAM Conference on Geometric Design to receive the discounted rate. Location The Sheraton Old Town Hotel is located in historic Old Town Albuquerque. The hotel is within walking distance to about 200 specialty shops, restaurants, galleries, and three excellent museums--the Albuquerque Museum, the New Mexico Museum of Natural History, and the Albuquerque Children's Museum. The Sheraton Old Town Hotel is a beautiful southwestern property that gives people a true feeling of New Mexico Deposit The Sheraton Old Town Hotel requires a deposit equivalent to one night's room rate to guarantee your reservation. The hotel accepts AMEX, MC, Visa, or check as form of payment. The hotel will send out written confirmations. Arrivals and Departures Check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 noon. Cancellations If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must contact the hotel by 4:00 PM mountain time, 42 hours prior to your scheduled arrival to receive a refund of your one night's deposit. Dining The Sheraton Old Town Hotel has three fine restaurants - - Cafe Del Sol, serving southwestern and home style favorites; Customs House, featuring the finest in steaks, seafood, and a tantalizing assortment of specialty dishes; and the Taverna Lounge, which features a happy hour buffet and a big screen TV. Recreational Facilities The hotel has a fully equipped fitness center that is complimentary to hotel guests. Parking The Sheraton Old Town Hotel will provide complimentary parking to SIAM Geometric Design attendees during the conference. Fax and E-mail Capabilities SIAM cannot offer e-mail access for individual attendees. We suggest you bring your own laptop computer and use hotel facilities. If you do not have your own personal laptop computer, the hotel business office offers this service at a nominal fee. Weather Albuquerque has an average temperature of 50 degrees during the day and 30 degrees at night. Remember to dress in layers in case the central heating is too warm in the meeting rooms.
