SIAM members come from many disciplines. They are applied and computational mathematicians, computer scientists, engineers, physicists, and a variety of other scientists, including researchers, educators, and practitioners working in industry, laboratories, government, and academia.

The SIAM membership year runs January through December. Multiple year membership and lifetime membership are also available.  Contact customer service for details.
