Unemployed or Disabled Members

(For renewing Regular, Reciprocal, and Postgraduate Members who become unemployed or disabled)

Unemployed Member

If you have been a Regular, Reciprocal, or Postgraduate Member of SIAM for the last three consecutive years and are currently unemployed, you are eligible to receive a special discounted dues rate for up to one year.

Disabled Member

If you are a Regular, Reciprocal, or Postgraduate Member of SIAM and are unemployed due to a disability, you are eligible to receive a 75% discount on your membership for as long as you are disabled.

Benefits of membership are the same as for a Regular Member, except that you will not be eligible to nominate two students for free SIAM membership.
