Inverse Problems at GE

10:30 AM-12:30 PM
Room: Sidney Smith 2102

"Inverse problems" is a lingo that mathematicians often attach to problems frequently found in industry. For example, many fascinating "inverse problems" arise in medical imaging. Computed Tomography (CT) provides a particularly fascinating inverse problem, rich with subproblems including (but not limited to): artifact correction, fast reconstruction, and optimizing the use of measured data. Although industrial applications often demand stable solutions, the speakers in this minisymposium will consider an inverse heat conduction problem in this session.
