Your support in staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Anaheim - Orange County helps keep the conference costs down, which directly affects your registration fees. SIAM guarantees the hotel that we will fill a certain number of “room nights” (rooms per night) during the conference. SIAM incurs penalties if too many attendees opt to stay in other hotels in the area or neglect to indicate to the hotel that they are with the SIAM conference. At this time, conference costs do not include meeting room rental. If SIAM fails to fill the contracted room block, SIAM is charged the cost for the meeting rooms on a daily basis, along with a hefty penalty. Future registration fees could increase to cover these additional risks.

When making your reservation, remember that the Welcome Reception is scheduled for Tuesday, June 12. This is an excellent networking opportunity!
Reservations
SIAM is holding a block of rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Anaheim - Orange County. These rooms are being held on a first-come, first-served basis at the following discounted rates. Please be aware the room block fills quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early.
The group rate is guaranteed until the cutoff date or until the room block is full. If rooms are available after the cutoff date, they will be offered at the best available rate.Reservation Deadline - May 14, 2018 (or until the room block is filled)
Single/Double* $169.00 per night plus 10.4% tax
Government Rate $120.00 per night plus 10.4% tax
Student rate $135.00 per night plus 10.4% tax

In the event that you find a lower room rate, please make the reservation at the lower rate and notify SIAM immediately ([email protected]). By doing this you will receive the lower rate and be counted towards the SIAM room block. However, please be aware by booking outside the SIAM room block at a lower rate, you may not receive the same benefits as rooms reserved in the SIAM room block (i.e complimentary Internet access).
Reservations are not confirmed until acknowledged in writing by the hotel or verified by phone. Be sure to get a confirmation number from the hotel and be prepared to provide that number to the front desk clerk upon check-in at the hotel. Be sure to get a confirmation number

Do not make your reservation online using the hotel’s general web site, as this will not allow you to obtain the SIAM group rate. Be sure to use the group link if making reservations online. Remember to get your confirmation number!
Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must contact the hotel by 6:00 PM on your scheduled arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee. You can contact the hotel at 800-HILTONS (USA and Canada) or +1-714-634-4500. Remember to get a cancellation number!

Check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM.
Deposit
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Anaheim - Orange County requires a credit card to confirm and guarantee your reservation. The hotel will send out e-mail confirmations upon request.
Parking
Parking will be reduced by $5 off of the prevailing rate. Attendees will be able to pay a reduced parking rate of $10 per day per vehicle.

Hotel guests will have complimentary use of the fitness center in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Anaheim - Orange County.
