Orthogonal Polynomials: Theory and Applications - Part I of II

Sponsored by SIAM Activity Group on Orthogonal Polynomials and Special Functions
(Invited Minisymposium)

(For Part II, see MS60)

3:45 PM-5:45 PM
Room: Savannah 1

Since their inception orthogonal polynomials have played an important role in various areas of mathematics such as approximation theory, mathematical physics, and numerical analysis. Recent advances in the theory of orthogonal polynomials in one and higher dimensions as well as various applications will be the focus of these minisymposia.
