OP99 AN99 CP IP JP MS AWM = = = = = = = Sixth SIAM Conference on Optimization SIAM Annual Meeting Contributed Presentations Invited Plenary Presentations Joint Plenary Presentations Minisymposium Association for Women in Mathematics Speaker Notice The organizers for both conferences expect every speaker of a scheduled presentation to register and give his or her presentation. If the speaker is unable to attend and present the talk, he or she is expected to find an alternate speaker immediately, preferably one of the speaker's co-authors. The speaker must inform the SIAM Conference Department immediately of any change in his/her scheduled presentation. A "no-show" or cancelled presentation can cause serious inconvenience to the attendees and meeting organizers. Time allotted for each presentation: 15 minutes for Contributed Presentation (CP) plus 5 minutes for audience questions for either conference. 25 minutes for Minisymposium (MS) plus 5 minutes for audience questions for either conference. For papers with multiple authors, the speaker is shown in italics if known at press time. Exhibits The book exhibits will be at the Exhibit Hall. Exhibitors can begin setting up their booths and tables on Sunday, May 9 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The exhibits officially open at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 10, and close on Thursday afternoon, May 13. Notice to Poster Presenters OP99 Poster presenters at OP99 conference can post up their posters beginning at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 9 in the Exhibit Hall. The session officially opens at 7:30 PM on that day. All poster displays must be removed from the boards immediately at the end of the session at 9:00 PM. SIAM is not responsible for any displays left on the boards and discarded after 9:00 PM Monday. AN99 Poster presenters at AN99 meeting can set up their posters beginning at 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 13 in the Exhibit Hall. The session officially opens at 7:00 PM on that day. Drinks and pizza will be available during the session for $14 per person. Tickets are to be purchased in advance. Attendees who have not purchased tickets for the pizza party are welcome to view the posters and talk to poster presenters. All poster displays must be removed immediately at the end of the session at 9:00 PM. SIAM is not responsible for any displays left on the boards and discarded after 9:00 PM on Thursday.
