The mission of the Board on Mathematical Sciences and Their Applications is to improve the quality of analysis used in government decision-making and to help maintain a vibrant mathematical sciences research enterprise. The Board carries out its mission through studies and reports.
AAAS R&D Budget and Policy Program: a terrific resource for information on the US federal R&D budgets. The AAAS annually does extensive reports and analysis on the budget.
American Physical Society (APS): contains policy statements of the APS and alerts to scientists, focusing on science funding issues. Also contains advice on how to communicate with one's congressional representative.
