NSF Multidisciplinary Program in Data and Visual Analytics

The National Science Foundation announced a new program solicitation for a multidisciplinary program in the Foundations of Data and Visual Analytics. The program is funded jointly by NSF and NIH. Details on the program and application process may be found at:

The deadline for proposal submissions is November 20, 2007.

The program addresses research issues in the understanding of analytical reasoning facilitated by interactive visual interfaces. The program seeks novel data modeling and reduction techniques to address these research issues.
