Hurricane Katrina

SIAM members and staff express a deep-felt sympathy for all those affected by Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. Individually, we share concern for everyone in the affected region. As an organization, we are particularly concerned for members of the SIAM community who live in the region.
SIAM wishes to do what it can to help those in need.
If you are aware of graduate students or faculty who are seeking temporary placement because of Katrina, please let the SIAM office know. SIAM can serve as a clearinghouse for this information.
If you are aware of members of the SIAM community who are affected, please let us know of their situation and how they may be contacted.
