DHS seeks mathematics

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a solicitation for a research center in Command, Control and Interoperability. The solicitation states that "proposals should incorporate projects involving integrated scientific, technological and other academic disciplines, such as computer science, mathematics (discrete, statistical, and modern algebraic techniques)," among other topics.
