Roger Fletcher wins Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) Royal Medal

The Royal Society of Edinburgh, Scotland's National Academy, is to award one of its three medals for 2008 to SIAM member, Professor Roger Fletcher FRS FRSE of the University of Dundee, for his outstanding contribution to mathematics and software development.

Congratulations to Roger, who will be presented with the Medal by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh at the Palace of Holyroodhouse on the afternoon of Monday, August 11.
