The original OECD study, reported on initially at ICIAM 2007, collected information on mathematics-in-industry projects and programs and presented those results in a report. The resulting compendium is an addendum to the June 2008 Report on Mathematics in Industry. The new material provides information and examples regarding options available to those who wish to strengthen the links between academic mathematics and industry.
