SIAG on Dynamical Systems Announces Its New Officers

The SIAM Activity Group on Dynamical Systems (SIAG/DS) has completed its election, and announces its new officers whose terms begin January 1, 2010. Officers are elected to two-year terms.

The new class of officers are:

• Alan Champneys, Chair
• Steven Shaw, Vice Chair
• Vivien Kirk, Program Director
• Jens Rademacher, Secretary/Treasurer

Two hundred twenty-nine (229) members of the SIAG cast a vote in the election. Comments sent in by voters have been passed along to officers of the SIAG.

The SIAG/DS runs the bienniel Conference on Application of Dynamical Systems, next held in 2011 in Snowbird, Utah.

The SIAG/DS also maintains DSWeb, a portal for information on dynamical systems which contains the online Dynamical System Magazine.
