February 17, 2010

SIAM signed reciprocity agreements with the Edinburgh Mathematical Society (EMS), the Israel Mathematical Union (IMU), and the Japan Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (JSIAM). Reciprocal membership is available to individuals residing outside the United States who belong to another mathematical society with which SIAM has a reciprocity agreement. Reciprocal members who belong to EMS, IMU, or JSIAM receive a 30% discount off the SIAM regular member dues rate and receive all the benefits of regular membership.

Other societies with which SIAM has a reciprocity agreement include Gesellschaft fr Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik (GAMM) in Germany, The Royal Dutch Mathematical Society - Koninklijk Wiskundig Genootschap (KWG) in the Netherlands, Sociedad Espaola de Matemtica Aplicada (SEMA) in Spain, Socit de Mathmatiques Appliques et Industrielles (SMAI) in France and the Societa' Italiana di Matematica Applicata e Industriale (SIMAI) in Italy.

If you belong to a mathematical society outside the United States that might be interested in pursuing a reciprocal membership agreement with SIAM, contact Executive Director James Crowley at [email protected].
