Gil Strang Featured NYT Education Life

One of SIAM's past Presidents, Gil Strang, is featured in a New York Times Education Life article [The Matrix by Kenneth Chang, April 28, 2010] that describes Strang's online video version of his MIT linear algebra course (Mathematics 18.06: Linear Algebra), one of the MIT Open Courseware offerings.

As the author Chang notes, "Gilbert Strang's linear algebra lectures are among the most watched courses on the Web."

Strang's course was featured in SIAM News in December 1, 2005: A Bold Experiment at MIT Pays Off for All.
