Open Call for Dahlgquist, Reid, and Henrici Prizes

The SIAM prize page lists open calls for nominations to SIAM prizes (see http://www.siam.org/prizes/nominations.php). Several prizes were recently added to the list. These include the Germund Dahlquist Prize, the W. T. and Idalia Reid Prize , and the Peter Henrici Prize .
The Germund Dahlquist Prize, to be presented at the 2007 International Conference on Scientific Computation and Differential Equations in Saint-Malo, France, on July 9-13, 2007 has a deadline for nominations of November 15, 2006. The Dahlquist Prize is is awarded to a young scientist (normally under 45) for original contributions to fields associated with Germund Dahlquist, especially the numerical solution of differential equations and numerical methods for scientific computing.
The W. T. and Idalia Reid Prize is given for research in, or other contributions to, the broadly defined areas of differential equations and control theory. The award will be presented at the 2007 SIAM Conference on Control and Its Applications (CT07) to be held June 29 - July 1, 2007, in San Francisco, California.
Deadline for nominations is November 30, 2006.
The Peter Henrici Prize will be prestented at ICIAM 07 to be held July 16-20, 2007, in Zurich, Switzerland. The deadline for nominations is October 15, 2006. The prize is awarded for original contributions to applied analysis and numerical analysis and/or for exposition appropriate for applied mathematics and scientific computing.
