NSF Focused Research Group (FRG) Proposal Deadline
July 29, 2005
Dear Colleagues,
Please note that the deadlines are approaching for the NSF Focused Research Groups in the Mathematical Sciences (FRG) competition. A one-page e-mail letter of intent to submit a proposal must be sent by the PI to the e-mail address [email protected] by August 19.
The FRG solicitation can be found at
http://www.nsf.gov/pubsys/ods/getpub.cfm?nsf02129
The deadline dates are:
Letters of intent (required) due 19 August 2005
Proposals due 16 September 2005
From the solicitation:
The Division of Mathematical Sciences of the National Science Foundation expects to make a small number of awards annually that will support the activities of groups of investigators. Proposals for these Focused Research Groups (FRG) in the Mathematical Sciences should provide a plan for making significant progress in scientifically focused areas of recognized or emerging importance to the mathematical sciences and explain that the success of the proposed research project depends in a crucial way upon a group effort.
