Educating Middle-grades Teachers for Challenging Contexts Program

Are you a math or science professional seeking a career change? Temple University can help! A new program at Temple University trains early retirees and career changers to become science or mathematics teachers in middle-grade schools. Educating Middle-grades Teachers for Challenging Contexts (E=mc) is a Transition to Teaching program with an accelerated, practical, and flexible path to teaching. E=mc allows participants to maintain their current non-teaching job in the beginning of the program as they transition to teaching. If you are at the point in your career when you are looking for something significant and challenging to give back to the community, then this program could provide an exciting opportunity.
