The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Delaware is pleased to host the 25th annual Mathematical Problems in Industry workshop. MPI is a problem-solving workshop that attracts leading applied mathematicians and scientists from universities, industry, and national laboratories. During the workshop, engineers and scientists from industry interact with the academic participants on problems of interest to their companies. Financial support is available to early career mathematicians for travel and accommodations. General information, upcoming workshop problems, and registration materials can be found at http://www.math.udel.edu/MPI.
Graduate students interested in MPI are encouraged to apply to the Graduate Student Mathematical Modeling Camp during the preceding week. Information can be found at http://www.math.rpi.edu/GSMMCamp.
