The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is pleased to host the 26th annual Mathematical Problems in Industry (MPI) Workshop. The MPI Workshop is a problem-solving workshop that attracts leading applied mathematicians and scientists from universities, industry, and national laboratories. During the workshop, engineers and scientists from industry interact with the academic participants on problems of interest to their companies. Financial support is available to early-career mathematicians for travel and accommodations. General information and registration materials can be found at http://www.rpi.edu/dept/math/MPIWorkshop.

Graduate students interested in the MPI Workshop are encouraged to apply to the Graduate Student Mathematical Modeling Camp, which is held during the preceding week. Information and an online application form can be found at http://www.rpi.edu/dept/math/GSMMCamp.
