How to Get SIAM Cooperation for Your Meeting

March 1, 2005

Are you organizing a conference or workshop that will be of interest to the SIAM community? Would you like to get more publicity for it? For free? If so, request cooperation with SIAM!

If SIAM cooperation is granted, your meeting will be listed on the SIAM conference Web pages (in the "Conference Calendar," under "Meetings in Cooperation with SIAM"), as well as in the SIAM News Calendar. You will also be able to specify "in cooperation with SIAM" in promoting your conference elsewhere.

How do you request cooperation with SIAM? Simply send a message to the SIAM vice president for programs, at [email protected]. We do have a few requirements: At least one member of your organizing committee should be a SIAM member, and your meeting should not fall within two weeks of the SIAM Annual Meeting or a SIAM conference on a similar topic. SIAM needs to receive your request before you issue your first call for papers or any other announcements of the meeting.
