Errata

In announcing plans for a special issue of SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing, SIAM News (Vol. 35, March 2002, page 13) misreported the name of the journal's editor-in-chief.

To set the record straight: Howard Elman has been the editor-in-chief of SISC since January 1999. He was reappointed to a second three-year term in January of this year.

Henk van der Vorst, a member of the SISC editorial board, is the editor of an upcoming issue on iterative methods.

SIAM News regrets any confusion caused by the error.
