SIAM funds local activities for student chapters

SIAM awarded $16,660 to 35 students chapters for activities taking place on local campuses during the 2006-2007 academic year. Planned activities include visiting lecturers, research presentations by students and faculty, field trips to local industry, t-shirt design contests, and social events.
