The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) published its first book over 50 years ago, and since then has published hundreds of titles on a variety of topics related to applied mathematics. If you have a client base that includes individuals interested in scientific, technical, or mathematical publications, your store should be one of SIAM's Special Agent Bookstores—it might already be one!
Obviously, not all SIAM titles are appropriate for bookstores. Even though we publish about 25 titles each year, SIAM's Publisher selects a few specific titles to recommend to you. These titles are the ones we believe have the best potential for sales in bookstores. Of course, we encourage you to browse the catalog on this web site for additional information and complete tables of contents for all available SIAM books.
If you are not yet a SIAM Special Agent Bookstore, you can download the Application for Agent Status [PDF, 31KB] and return it to SIAM. If you are approved as an agent bookstore you will be entitled to 30% off the list price of SIAM books, a liberal return policy, and possible extended credit with SIAM.
