Conference registration and sessions will take place on the Dalhousie University campus. Registration will be located in the Marion McCain building. Sessions will take place in Marion McCain, Kenneth C. Rowe and the Henry Hicks building.

Parking
Visitor parking is available on campus. Visitor parking permits cost $11.18 per day, and $44.72 per week. Method of payment is cash, debit card or credit card. parking passes are available at the Security Services office which is located in the basement of the Marion McCain building.

There are a block of rooms at the Lord Nelson Hotel, Atlatica Hotel and at Dalhousie University’s Residence Halls. These rooms are being held on a first-come, first-served basis at the following discounted rates. Please be aware the room blocks fills quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early.

Student Rate

Payment Process
Each individual making his/her own reservations from the room block via the Conference Services office, is responsible for paying for his/her own accommodations upon check-in.

SIAM is holding a block of rooms at the Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites . These rooms are being held on a first-come, first-served basis at the following discounted rates. Please be aware the room block fills quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early.
The group rate is guaranteed until the cutoff date unless the block fills prior to that. If there are rooms available after the cutoff date, they will be available at the best rate offered at that time.

Single/Double* $159.00 CAD per night plus 2% Marketing Levy & 15% HST Tax
All rooms based on availability.
All rates are subject to state and local occupancy taxes.
*Additional fees of $20.00 per person apply to triple and quad occupancy.
Reservations are not confirmed until acknowledged in writing by the hotel or verified by phone. Be sure to get a confirmation number from the hotel and be prepared to provide that number to the front desk clerk upon check-in at the hotel. If hotel reservations are requested by facsimile and written confirmation is not received within two weeks of sending the facsimile, please contact the hotel immediately to verify that the reservation request was received and processed. Be sure to get a confirmation number.
