The 2017 SDM/IBM Early Career Data Mining Research Award Announcement
The winner of the 2017 SDM/IBM Early Career Data Mining Research Award is Jimeng Sun, Professor at the School of Computational Science and Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology. This annual award recognizes one individual in the field of data science who has made outstanding, influential, and lasting contributions to the field within 10 years of having received a PhD. The award ceremony will take place on April 28, 2017 at the Business Meeting of SIAM International Conference on Data Mining in Houston, TX.
