SIAM Southern California Section (SIAM-SOCAL)

The Southern California Section was formed in 1964 to serve SIAM members in Southern California and its surrounding areas. Its purpose is to promote the advancement and dissemination of Mathematics and its wider use and understanding in the scientific and industrial community. The Section has recently been revived, as of 2016, and currently hosts annual meetings at local universities.

The SIAM SOCAL Section is in the process of organizing their next meeting set to occur in June, 2017 at the University of California - Irvine. Stay tuned for dates and details!
