Enjoy a casual lunch or dinner in Standing O, their Bar/Bistro. Breakfast is available each morning in Academy Café, their restaurant on the second floor.

Your support in staying at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel helps keep the conference costs down, which directly affects your registration fees. SIAM guarantees the hotel that we will fill a certain number of “room nights” (rooms per night) during the conference. SIAM incurs penalties if too many attendees opt to stay in other hotels in the area or neglect to indicate to the hotel that they are with the SIAM conference. At this time, conference costs do not include meeting room rental. If SIAM fails to fill the contracted room block, SIAM is then charged the cost for the meeting rooms on a daily basis, along with a hefty penalty. Future registration fees could increase to cover these additional risks.
SIAM is holding a block of rooms at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel. These rooms are being held on a first-come, first-served basis at the following discounted rates. Please be aware the room block fills quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early.The group rate is guaranteed until the cutoff date unless the block fills prior to that. If there are rooms available after the cutoff date, they will be available at the best rate offered at that time.

In the event that you find a lower room rate, please make the reservation at the lower rate and notify SIAM immediately ([email protected]). By doing this you will receive the lower rate and be counted towards the SIAM room block.
Reservations are not confirmed until acknowledged in writing by the hotel or verified by phone. Be sure to get a confirmation number from the hotel and be prepared to provide that number to the front desk clerk upon check-in at the hotel. If hotel reservations are requested by facsimile and written confirmation is not received within two weeks of sending the facsimile, please contact the hotel immediately to verify that the reservation request was received and processed. Be sure to get a confirmation number.

When making your reservation, remember that the Welcome Reception is scheduled for June 8, 2013. This is an excellent networking opportunity!
The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel requires a credit card to confirm and guarantee your reservation. The hotel will send out e-mail confirmations upon request.
If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must contact the hotel prior to 6 pm on the scheduled arrival date in order to avoid a cancellation fee. You can contact the hotel at (800) 222-TREE (USA and Canada) or +1-215-893-1600. Remember to get a cancellation number!
